Directions: From the A41 at Berkhamstead, take the A416 (to Chesham) through Ashley Green. ¾ mile before Chesham at the bottom of Nashleigh Hill, turn right into Vale Road. Follow this road for 1mile. The Black Horse Inn is on the left
Set in some beautiful valley countryside, this 500-year-old pub is ideal for enjoying a cosy, traditional environment without electronic games or music. During the winter there are roaring log fires to take the chill off those who may spot one of the resident ghosts.
